From the start it was immediately clear that flowers would play the leading role in this commissioned painting. The intention was to bring in the beauty of the blooming roses in the clients’ garden through a painting.

I started putting together a composition based on all kinds of photos of the roses from their garden. Due to the large size of this painting, it was quite a job for me, but the end result was beautiful! All the colors of the roses really come into their own. There are many details in the painting: you can look at it for hours. Mission accomplished!

The painting has become an eye-catcher in the clients’ home. The roses symbolize the power of nature, motivate you to always see the beauty of life and radiate warmth and love. Even if the roses don’t bloom outside, the light will always shine inside their house!
