The story
This memorial portrait of a sweet, special man, in addition to the memory, also symbolizes his life motto: ‘Geneet van ’t laeve’ (Limburg dialect, means: enjoy life). Many challenges have come his way in his life, but he always managed to find a bright spot and focus on the positive things. Life is beautiful, enjoy it while you can. So his motto. His family will not forget him! It was an honor to paint him.
