The story behind this painting:

The fascination with butterflies is there since childhood. The beautiful colors, the unusual patterns on their wings… When she sees butterflies, she immediately feels happy. She even dreams about it regularly.

She wanted to have a painting commissioned for her living room. Something new, something fresh. It had to contain butterflies, that was absolutely clear. I started puzzling with compositions and eventually I presented her this idea of three paintings with different butterflies. She was very enthusiastic.

The butterflies symbolize a feeling of lightness and positivity. Experience joy in life, regardless of what has happened in the past. They comfort, but they also invite you to take steps and to realize wishes. This symbolism is very applicable to her life. Now these three paintings are hanging in a central place in her living room and she is enjoying the butterflies every single day.
